Who can create and publish travel stories?

Everyone can! All you have to do is sign-up for free!

Your first story will be submitted for review so we can make sure no unsuitable content is being posted, but once approved, you can then add your stories and they will be published straight away.

How do I create my travel story?

Choose the story type you want to create and then use our simple content creator tool!

You can write your blog adding content and headers, upload photos and display them in customisable formats, embed videos from YouTube and Vimeo, add Google maps to show your journey, and backlink to your own blogging website if you have one.

Once done just hit Publish! Creating a travel story is as easy as adding a post on social media!

What are the different travel story types?

Travel stories can be saved as drafts as you create them, so you can come back and add to them and publish once you’re happy with it.

Who can see my travel stories?

When publishing your travel story you have 2 options,

Publish Publicly… all of our community can enjoy your story and it can be discovered by everyone visiting TrovenTrip. And we will share your stories on our social media channels to increase your reach and followers.

Publish Privately… only people you give the direct link to can see it, and it won’t be visible to our wider community or visitors. The TrovenTrip team will be able to see these stories to ensure no unsuitable content is being hosted, but they won’t be shared with anyone or on social media.

Will the content I add still be my own?

Yes!

The content you add will remain yours and you can edit it or remove it at any time from your account area. When you publicly publish your stories, we will share and promote them on our social media channels, but if you prefer to keep your content private you can always publish them privately instead. How do I grow my followers?

When you publish your travel stories they will be shared with our global community of travellers and all visitors to our website, with readers being able to follow you and be notified whenever you add new content. You can also interact, follow and favourite other storytellers and stories to increase your network!

We also promote your stories on our social media channels and would like to collaborate with you… if you link your social accounts on your profile page, we’ll tag you into the social media posts to increase your reach, opening a new audience of followers and help you grow.

Can I get advice on how to improve my storytelling skills?

Yes!

We are a community of storytellers, photographers and videographers from around the World, and when you join you can interact with everyone from your members section… ask questions on your My Feeds page which other travellers can answer, and follow your favourite storytellers to learn from their writing and photography styles.
