I finally ticked off a bucket-list destination: Cape Town, South Africa! From long-haul flights to hiking Lion’s Head at sunrise and paragliding off Signal Hill, the trip was packed with adventure. I soaked in the views from Table Mountain, explored vineyards on the Franschhoek Wine Tram, and even spotted the Big 5 (almost!) on a safari at Inverdoorn Game Reserve. The beaches? Stunning, though the Atlantic was freezing! I also visited Robben Island for a humbling glimpse into history. Cape Town’s beauty is unforgettable, but the stark poverty was eye-opening and heart-wrenching.
