Reigned by the Percys – the Duke of Northumberland’s family for the last 700 years, the Alnwick Castle is one of the largest inhabited castles of England. It boasts of an impressive art collection and majestic State Rooms, truly this castle is an architectural wonder.

We were required to pre-book the tickets for the castle and pick a slot as per the on-going Covid 19 norms and expected to wear a face covering once inside closed premises. All entries were limited to your own group of visitors and hence the queues were longer than expected.
