Yeti Beach is a very beautiful and a vast beach .It is located around 28 kms from the city center Muscat. It is one of the secluded but a well known beaches in Oman. It is a place where families from Muscat prefer to go for night camping and by groups to host parties. The naturally carved stones in the middle of the beach , the cliffs and the rocky edges enhance the beauty of the sea and calms the furious waves as they glide towards the shore. Its one of the unique places where the mountain meets the sea!
One day I went with my family for a stroll on the beach and fell in love with the beautiful location and couldn’t resist taking numerous pics. I thought this location will be perfect to choose for a nice romantic song and picked the location when I decided to do a video shoot on ‘Pavizha Maya- it is a Malayalam song’ which means rain that depicts pearls falling down on the ground with a really soothing music.
I had a very unique experience at the beach. We reached the location early morning 4.00.a.m and it was low tide, so we got a location that was surrounded by mountains on three sides and by sea on the 4th side. We were engrossed in the shooting and lost track of time. As the tide rose we found that it was actually not a beach spot to loiter on and we really had a tough time to get to the shore . We almost had to swim across in our dance costumes ! 😀
You can enjoy the location and our dance by viewing the video below. All comments and feedback are more than welcome ! 🙂
