“We just went Coconut’s about Bali”
It was the month of October and an unplanned and never thought of destination Bali came up to our minds over a coffee not simply its said a lot can happen over a Coffee :).
2018 -It was the time when travel was free to decide like how birds do.
For us our wings were Emirates Airline and it would fly us anywhere around the world.
The thought of taking a good 9 hours flight was tough as when you have less leaves, but then we decided to try it as the pictures on internet were too tempting to resist.
The point I wasn’t sure of was whether I should travel as family with 4 year old daughter or just a couple. All I had heard was about KUTA and LEGIAN and assumed its all about nightlife only.
My first assumption about this wonderful destination was its another BKK or HKT but I was wrong, Starting from the immigrations to arrival was less than 30 minutes.
Destination is beyond that meets the eye, Its a mini world of leisure in its own in the most affordable price.
Moving out and about :-Blue Bird taxi – the airport taxi company other than GRAB and GOJEK are available.
My recommendation is to go for GRAB it is super affordable. On my first trip we booked airport taxi which costed us 200000IDR from airport to Nusa Dua a well-known family holidaying area of Bali.
Comparatively subsequent trips I made costed only 60000IDR on grab and that is exactly where I recommend GRAB.
It is pretty similar to UBER app where you can track the vehicle, driver details.
I must say on my multiple visits never had an opportunity where driver or any shopkeeper was rude, shady or manipulating.
You can also rent motorbikes it costed me USD6 per day + petrol that you fill as riding.
My request to readers have your international driving licence no one will ask but if you get caught by police you will end up paying unwanted expenses both to court and the rental company.
